Pokémon Blue Version is a classic role-playing game that takes players on an adventure through the Kanto region as they strive to become a Pokémon Champion. Players capture, train, and battle Pokémon while challenging Gym Leaders, completing the Pokédex, and stopping the schemes of Team Rocket. Featuring version-exclusive Pokémon that encourage trading with other players, Pokémon Blue helped establish the monster-collecting formula that made the series a global success. (All Gameboy cartridges with batteries have had them replaced.)
